After sweeping around the Gazala line, Rommel continued to advance, threatening 8th Army's lines of communication and rear area. Armored reserves were committed to cut the DAK off from its own supply lines. Faced with the prospect of running out of ammo and fuel, Rommel moved west, hoping to punch a hole through the Gazala line from its interior, and regain his lines. On the attack, the 21st Panzer Division ran into the advance guard units of the 22nd Armoured Brigade.
Objectives: Your company will advance to the northwest and defeat any enemy armor that impedes your progress to the objective. Your support consists of a section of panzerjager deployed on the right flank, and a FlaK 88 battery sited on high ground on the left flank.
